uPVC Doors issues

A common issue with uPVC doors is that over time the doors will drop slightly causing the hooks and rollers in the door to mis-align. A symptom of this is having to push up hard on the handle in order to lock the door or just a general stiffness when locking/unlocking.

Lock replacement

Eventually over time wear will cause the mechanism in the door to fail. However, at AW Locks we are fully qualified uPVC repair technicians and can re-align and service your door to prevent any terminal failure.

Anti-snap locks

Basic locks are vulnerable to this type of attack and it can take between 50 seconds and two minutes to force the lock. You want do your best to protect your home and your family and now there’s something better, the new UAP+ Zero Lift Cylinder Lock.

The latest standard

Enhanced Anti–snap Cylinder locks – have anti snap cuts on both sides of the cylinder. If unreasonable force is applied to one end of an Anti–Snap Cylinder it only breaks away to the snap line, but leaves the locking mechanism still inside the door.
